Christmas At Our Place

The tree is up, the stocking are hung, there are a few Christmas lights up around the exterior of the house. It's beginning to feel like Christmas. I love this time of the year! I have been terrible about posting lately sooooo, I set up a December challenge for myself. A photo a day! Wish me luck!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year, we celebrated with a delicious meal at our place. My sister and her family braved the passes to make it along with my grandma and my parents. It was fun to get everyone together for a yummy food. It has a been a difficult holiday for many reasons but I am truly thankful that my family came together to celebrate. I do have a lot to be thankful for this year!

Puppy day 2

Day two, we are still enjoying our sweet little puppy. She is gettting much more comfortable in her new surrondings. A bit more playful. She still hasn't had much oppurtunity to walk anywhere as the kids insist on carrying her around. Alice has been to a coffee shop, Target, a retirement home and school. Busy dog hhuh?

Day 1 with a new puppy!

Meet Alice. We call her Ali. She is a miniature schnauzer puppy, 6 weeks old. A puppy was not in our future but a co-worker of mine had an ad placed to sell her, and her sister and I couldn't resist. That and the timing seemed to work nicely. She is a calm,relaxed (so far) dog, pretty much is carried around ALL THE TIME! She is already sporting a pink sweater and a pink rhinestone collar charm. I can tell this dog is going to be spoiled rotten. Emilee picked the name. It is actually a cute story. She googled doggie names, picked about 30 she liked. Wrote them all on a piece of paper, put them into a hat, drew three then had all of us vote. Even Sam the dog had a vote. Then....she took the top three names to school and had her entire class vote.
