Halloween Fun

We kicked off the halloween fun this weekend. I attended a grown up party while my kiddos headed off to a harvest festival and a halloween hop. I will post pics of the kids closer to the real halloween.

Pumpkin Patch Part II

The kids and I made an attempt to go pick our own pumpkins this year. We headed out to a local pumpkin patch I had heard about from a few different folks. We arrived and wouldn't you know it....they were out of pumpkins. Well there was a few rotten pumpkins left scattered about. Mostly it was a field of corn husks. The kids were not disappointed in the least, they ran around picking dried up corn. Great fun??!!?? We stopped at Fred Meyers and bought a few pumpkins so mission accomplished. Pumpkins...check. Great memories...check.

Preschool Field Trip

The adorable kids at Children's Progressive Learning Center were kind enough to let me tag along on their field trip to the pumpkin patch. What fun! Cute little simple games, a small petting zoo, face painting all lead by the students at the local high school here. The kids had a blast and I loved being included in Caitlyn's special day.

Winthop

My little miss Em and I took a road trip up north to the beautiful little town of Winthrop. The leaves were changing colors and everything was gorgeous!!! We arrived and walked around town a bit, took some photos, did some shopping, went to the itty bitty grocery store and stocked up on junk food, rented a movie and crashed in our beautiful motel room. Very low key, very relaxing and just what this momma needed.

My new lense

I got a new lense for my camera, I am loving trying it out. I hope to have tons of pictures to post soon!!
