Busy life, party planning, dirty laundry and a swim team champ!

It is my weekend, well my short weekend. It has been so frustrating for me. I am so far behind so many things in my life right now. Not enough hours in the days lately. I am in the middle of the kitchen remodel. I am hoping it will be finished before the kid's birthday party in a couple of weeks. I won't hold my breath. Then there is all the planning for the big birthday party of 08. My kids all have birthdays within a month of each other so we lump all the festivities into one big party. It is a lot of fun but... so much work. What else, hmmm. House work has been neglected for far too long. Usually my house is cluttered, I am okay with that but lately my house is DIRTY! I am seriously considering hiring a housekeeper. I have been threatening for awhile now but I may have to buck up and actually make the call.
My diet is going fairly well. I am down 20 pounds but seemed to have plateaued in the last week or so. It didn't help that I ate terribly over the Fourth of July weekend. I am over my halfway mark to my weight loss goal so I guess I should be pleased.
Emilee had her first swim meet last night. She did great! I hate to admit it but I didn't think that swimming was her thing, but she proved me wrong last night. She did SO good. She even came in first on one of her races. She is one who does really well under pressure. I was really proud.
Okay, so I complained about how much I need to do and how little time I have so I better get off my laptop and actually get some stuff accomplished. Take care. I will try to check in soon.

congrats on the weight loss. I would love to hire a house keeper too. Just once a month to get the house good and clean

I hate that behind-the-ball feeling. Life just whizzes by. I have a housekeeper and it is SUCH a treat and worth every cent! She comes every other week, and its my favorite days of the month. The only problem is that you have to clean up before she cleans! More for pride than anything else. I wont let her see how I really live. One lady told me one time that it has just been in recent years that women who worked did not have housekeepers and cooks. So, there you have it. Tell Eric you deserve it!
