The excitement of Christmas being just days away has set upon the Wentworth household. The kids are bouncing off the walls! They are excited for Santa, they are excited about the snow and they are overloaded on sugar. I am a bit excited too I will admit but I do have one little wish! Warmer weather. Double digits would be nice, it's not asking a lot. Just warm enough so I can throw my kids in the back yard and enjoy a cup of coffee in PEACE AND QUITE!
Alright a quick weekend update... It was my long weekend. Yeah! I worked a short overtime shift Friday night. It was cold and snowy so there wasn't much going on so I was able to finish a book I have been reading. It was great, check it out! (Thanks RV for letting me borrow it)
A friend of mine did my hair for me. I went with RED! I have been every other color so I thought, why not??? It took me a couple of days to get used to it but I like it. Thanks Molly!
Eric had his co-workers over Saturday night for a little Christmas party. That was fun! Great group of guys and lovely significant others! We had a great time. The kids got to have a sleepover so they were thrilled. The girls went to Grandma Cheryl's. Emilee went on and on about how much fun she had, so thanks Cheryl! Cody spent the night with Grandma and Grandpa Hendricks. He is so funny. Grandpa picks him up for church every Sunday and he didn't want to miss out on that so he decided to stay there instead of with the girls. Note to self, buy that kid a new shirt! He wears that one EVERY week!!!!

I LOVED the shack. It was one of the very best books I've read in a long time, and I wizzed through it. Hard to see the words through the tears, though.
I love his shirt and tie- you should have seen the tie he picked out for me to wear- I hever had so many comments on s Sunday or tie...
I like the Red- from the picture it looks good with your eye color.
My first stop over...you have a great blog. I found you thru Rebekah at Diagonally...
I am a dispatcher too! Thankfully, I am only part time now. My full time - twelve hour graveyard shifts are behind me. Well, I do work a couple from time to time...but NEVER in a row! OUCH.
...and I enjoyed reading The Shack too.
