We made it! A five hour drive pulling a trailer, three small children in the back screaming in the back seat and even a windstorm and power outage but overall a very relaxing weekend. We drove over to Lewiston on Thursday night and spent the night at Erics brothers house and then took off the next day for the cabin just outside of Orofino, Idaho.
We had just gotten settled and made dinner when a windstorm hit and knocked the power out. Normally that would be no big deal after all we are camping right? Well no electricity means no pump for the well so NO WATER! We just weren't prepared for that. We made it through the night and we were just about to head back to town when at about noon the electricity finally came back on. After that little fiasco I was able to relax and the rest of the weekend went smoothly.
The kids had a blast, chasing butterflies, riding the four wheeler, playing with the dogs, and wondering around the pasture. It was nice spending time with family and just being out in the middle of no where to enjoy a little peace and quite. Here are some of the MANY pictures I took
